This New Zealand villa was constructed in 1910 and is an exquisite example with heritage charm and features that were to be preserved. Structurally, the interior was retained, while a full interior refurbishment was addressed. These areas included kitchen, bathrooms, living and fireplace, flooring, painting and soft furnishings throughout.
The importance of honouring the past was significant and bolection moulding was subtly incorporated throughout the interior to blend the nuances of past and present. Timeless materiality and a visual language was formed to carry colour, texture and tone throughout the home.
The home was furnished with quality investment pieces from varying eras to create an enduring home to feel lived in.
